About Cat

Welcome. I’m Cat — Holistic Ayurvedic Practitioner, Reiki Energy Worker, Yin Yoga Guide, Wife and Mother to three beautiful souls.

I’m so honored you’ve found your way here.

My journey into holistic healing began in 2012 at the Art of Living Retreat Center in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. At the time, I was working as an esthetician and immersing myself in traditional Ayurvedic body therapies like Shirodhara, Marma Point Therapy, and Abhyanga. What began as professional training quickly turned into something much more personal. Ayurveda spoke to me in a way nothing else ever had.

It offered a lens through which I could finally understand myself — not just physically, but emotionally, energetically, and spiritually. It invited me to slow down, to listen to my body’s wisdom, and to live in rhythm of the natural world. For the first time, I felt what true alignment was.

From that moment forward, I knew this wasn’t just something I wanted to study — it was something I was meant to live and share.

The Path Home

Not long after that awakening, I became a mother — three babies in four years — and chose to be fully present in that sacred, demanding season as a stay-at-home-mom. Life was full and beautiful and messy, and it asked me to stretch in ways I never expected. But my love for holistic health never left me.

Instead, it deepened.

I began with energy work and became certified in Reiki, which opened up a whole new dimension of healing for me — the subtle, quiet energy that flows beneath everything. That experience helped me connect more deeply with myself and others.

Then I completed a Yin Yoga certification, which taught me the power of stillness, surrender, and softness — something I needed not just physically, but emotionally.

Eventually, I followed the call back to Ayurveda and became a certified Ayurveda Health Coach — a training that gave me a strong foundation in doshic wisdom, lifestyle rhythms, nutrition, and daily ritual.

I now call myself a Holistic Ayurvedic Practitioner because my work blends so much more than coaching. My path includes hands-on Ayurvedic body therapies like Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Marma Point Therapy and energy healing through Reiki, and intuitive, heart-centered support that honors the whole person — body, mind, and spirit.

Each step along the way has taught me that healing is never one-dimensional — it’s layered, lived, and deeply personal. Through this blend of modalities, I’ve found a way to support others that feels both rooted and intuitive. It’s not about perfection, but about presence. And it’s from that space — tender, spacious, and real — that true transformation begins.

The Heart of My Work

What I’ve learned through study, motherhood, and my own ongoing healing journey is that true wellness begins with remembering. Remembering how to listen. Remembering how to care for yourself with love, not pressure. Remembering that healing doesn’t have to be hard, but it does require presence.

My work is about helping you come back to your body, your breath, your own inner rhythm.
Not through one-size-fits-all solutions, but through rituals and rhythms that honor who you are, where you’ve been, and where you’re ready to go.

Whether we’re working with daily routines, digestion, nervous system support, or emotional clearing, I offer a safe, supportive space — one that blends Ayurvedic wisdom with energy work, body therapies, and intuitive care.

Why This Matters

I know what it feels like to put yourself last. I know what it means to care for everyone else and lose touch with your own needs in the process.

I also know the quiet ache that comes from being disconnected from your body, your joy, and your center — and how scary or unfamiliar it can feel to come back. I’ve had to walk that path myself, and I’m still walking it in some ways. This work is personal to me. It’s sacred.

Because when you begin to come home to yourself — when you start to show up for your healing with compassion, even in the smallest ways — things start to shift. It doesn’t happen all at once. But slowly, gently, something inside begins to soften. And from that place, real transformation can begin.

You don’t have to do it perfectly. You just have to begin.

If you’re feeling called to reconnect, to restore balance, to remember who you are underneath all the roles and rushing — I’m here.
With presence. With tools. And with deep respect for your journey.

With love & darkness,
Cat Palmisano
Holistic Ayurvedic Practitioner

I close with this sign-off because I hold a deep reverence for the dance between light and dark within healing. It is in the darkness—the quiet, often unseen space—where our deepest wounds are met with compassion, where pain is cradled and gently transformed into strength. This shadowed place is sacred: a wellspring of resilience, remembrance, and renewal.

By honoring both love and shadow, I hold space for the whole, sacred, and beautifully imperfect journey of becoming truly whole.
